Neuland In Color in Orlando!
I taught the Neuland alphabet in Orlando for the Central Scribes of Florida and we had fun the second day colorizing our names ( I had everyone pick the name of a person who is a "hero" to them, and we had a wonderful mix of popular cultural heros, relatives, family members, etc!) We reviewed the color theory and worked our compositions using "split complements". As usual, all we needed was more time!

I have a new librarian/educators workshop called "Upcycled Journals", focusing on using recyled materials for the covers and page of the books, using exposed stitch, multiple page binding. I taught as a one-day workshop for the Tampa Bay Consortium (librarian enrichment in the Tampa area). These book are a little more challenging, but we slugged it out, and came up with some very original books!
